I literally feel like losing my mind sometimes...

Feeling overwhelmed, cluttered, bogged down, busy and bothered??? As humans, we pile a lot on ourselves and often times we don't even know where this feeling of mess comes from. I myself have found that I have to "Clear Space" often.  But clearing space doesn't always mean to just go throwing stuff away or clearing our mind with meditation.  The mental weight of stress is made up of so many different elements in our lives and we don't realize the simple things that we can do to change it.

Here are a few things that I do to help clear space quite OFTEN!

tIP #1 - oRGANIZE A CABINET,  PANTRY OR DRAWER

You can literally take it one cluttered drawer at a time. It's crucial to understand that you don't have to go and do spring cleaning today, or declutter every drawer in your chest of drawers. But what you can is find one drawer, one cabinet, or one pantry in your home and declutter it. What will this do for you??? Cleaning one drawer every so often will not only help you get organized, but will give you a sense of relief that you've gotten something done, as with all the tips that I'm going to share with you. It's also just ONE drawer sis. That's not overwhelming, it's not too much and it can literally take you 5-10 minutes to do.  If you want to make it even more fun and interesting, after you have organized your drawer, or maybe at the end of the week - pop over to amazon and reward yourself with a new organizer that's SPECIFIC to that drawer, pantry or cabinet to help KEEP that drawer organized. Talk about Cleared Space... I made List on Amazon called "Let's Get Organized" with some organizers that I want or have. Click here to Check it out.  Want to share how this made you feel or share with us before and after pics of what you've accomplished? Share in our Private Community Facebook Group called The Mindset of Your Beauty, Body and Life.

TIP #2 GET RID OF SOME OLD CLOTHES

As you can see below, Kitty and I have some attachment issues so Listen Sis this one is going to be hard for you but I totally get it and I understand. But, you gotta do it. That pair of Jeans that you are trying to lose weight to find in, go ahead and donate them to someone who can enjoy them now.  Losing weight is a whole other battle in itself and If you are not already on a path to fitting in them jeans, it's best to reward yourself with a brand new pair once you get to that goal weight. Not only that, Looking at those clothes that are too small is just cluttering your mind with negative thoughts of anxiety and depression about your weight.  Blogger Nataly Kogan talks about her 5 life-changing lessons that she learned by using the KonMarie Decluttering method, specifically when it comes to clothes.  This method is simply based on "the idea of joy", what it brings to your life and how we are holding on to stuff in our homes that just don't give us great joy. KonMarie's Book is called The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing. If you are like me and have attachment issues, you need this book.

TIP #3 SNOOZE, BLOCK & DELETE TOXIC FRIENDS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

2021 #SocialMedia ProTip. You can unfriend - like, it's totally okay sis. □□✌□

Posted by Tia Evans on Saturday, January 2, 2021
OMG, LET THEM GO!!! First of all, you are not entitled to anyone on social media - not even friends or family. As a matter of fact; we should be able to have true social relationships with our friends and family without the need for media but honestly it's not friends and family that's cluttering your space.  It's those random people that you've added for whatever reason, those networking relationship that you thought were good business, it's the groups that you've been thrown into and it's the NEWS MEDIA outlets that you follow. Social media has come to a point to where it affects our mental health on a daily basis because of how we react to post. Whether it be political, a controversial life post, or that person that you really dislike, it's all causing grief on the regular but you have the power to create a more positive environment on your social media that is actually helpful to you rather than hurtful.  Listened, I have unfollowed, unfriended and snoozed a lot of people and the relief of not being negatively moved by their post is so refreshing. Here's some steps that I've taken to create a positive vibe on my social media. Step 1 - leave a few groups a day. You are going to be SHOCKED at how many pending groups that you've been thrown into. Facebook now gives you the option to review groups before you accept or decline an invite but that leaves you with a constant newsfeed of "pending" groups that you aren't even in yet. Step 2 - Unfollow ALL news pages that you follow. Seriously. Your friends will share news post that you'll see in your timeline and you can go to those news outlets and check them without following their pages. Just like turning on the news at night. The news media has such a negative impact on our mental health in general. With everything that's going on in the world, constantly having the new shoved in your face has become really challenging for the everyday person. Step 3 - Snooze, unfollow, block and unfriend!! Get familiar with adjusting your newsfeed and friends. It's TOTALLY okay to let that social media friend go.  You can snooze that family member for 30 days if he/she keeps posted that opposing political stuff and you can unfriend. It's not life your death. As a matter of fact, if you have facebook, come tothis post and share how making some of these media changes helped  you.

Every single Sunday, I try to implement something to take care of me. Whether it be a whole spa day, a shopping spree, organizing a closet or just cooking my favorite meal. It's for me, my mental health and the well being of me. What are some of our favorite Self Care Routines? Well.....I have started this blog a million times. I wonder if this will be one million and one? Probably because that's just what we do. I Can't keep up with anything, but the one thing that we need to keep up with is the thing that will give us peace.  Or at least we think that's it, until we try it, then it ain't it. lol I know, me too.

I don't really even know where to start. I wanted to write something upon creating this website that can sit as a preview or overview of what's hopefully to come. If this isn't 1,000,003rd time to start.

I have always loved to give my opinion. I'm one of those friends to where if you ask me, then I'm going to tell you my honest opinion. You might not like it. Now that I think back, no-one ever does. lol I think it's because I like to really give my honest opinion. Like you can hold me to my feelings if you ask me for advice.  But trait hasn't always played over well in my life. As a matter of fact, it's sometimes s curse. Without writing a book about that, there's one term that sums it up. "Put your foot in your mouth."

With that being said, I've had to learn to monitor and negate my opinions some. I had to pull wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back from expressing politically emotional opinions of the media - they burn my brain.  I've also learned to think a few minutes, have a sip of wine and site down before I give my friends my, my honest opinion. Woo boy - those conversations.  lol I now try and use them in more positive ways like sharing my opinion on a favorite tool that I use or my favorite household items, or maybe my favorite hair care items, clothes and things... Cause I like things. Things are fun at times. But they have to be useful things - What's useful Tia? "I don't know, you'll have to follow along my journey as I try and make an excuse as to why EVERYTHING I get is somehow useful.

I've grown accustomed to a few of my favorite coffees, types of clothes, "personalities", beauty habits and even partnered with several brands as direct sellers, affiliates and brand ambassador. Shoot.... Try stuff, tell people how you love it, share a discount with them to try it too and get a few quarters from it? Heck yea, Count me in. That's like finding money in the couch everyday just for living.

How are you looking to connect with women like you? Do you need help with meals for busy moms, comfy clothes for plus size girls, re-vibing your mature skin or just making it?? Share below in the comments, Subscribe for email updates and I'll see you around sis!!
